Candidate must be an energetic team player with a positive attitude and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Focus on patient care. Polished appearance. We are looking for someone who will be with the company for many years as we grow. Should be willing to learn new tasks and procedures. We are always adding new things to our skill set. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience. Must be proficient in basic assisting tasks such as writing accurate notes, x-ray certified, licensed to perform coronal polishing, nitrous certified, be proficient with making temporaries, iTero scanning and dentures. Daily procedures will include restorative, crown and bridge, orthodontics, oral surgery, implants, endodontics and pediatrics. Please apply only if you have current experience in these areas. Additional experience with Dentrix and Nomad is preferred . Hours are 8-5 Monday-Thursday (approximately 35 hours per weeks). Salary depends on experience. Uniforms provided. Health/Dental/Vision benefits, paid holidays, PTO and retirement plan. This is non-smoking facility. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. SPICE certified. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging. Maintain accurate records using Dentrix. Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic. Uphold knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and relevant dental procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using X-ray equipment and 3D scanning technology. Strong understanding of Dentrix. Knowledge of anatomy, vital signs, and medical terminology is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification or training as a Dental Assistant is mandatory.
