Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management protocols Assist dentist chairside during various procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take digital X-rays and 3D scans accurately while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR systems) ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices to promote optimal patient management software utilization Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as needed to support comprehensive patient care Support administrative tasks such as patient management, scheduling, and greeting as a dental receptionist when required Qualifications NC radiology license required. Proficiency with dental software is helpful.
