Responsibilities The role of the Certified Dental Assistant is to assist the dentist in providing exceptional dental treatment and customer service to patients, while also assisting with the following: Answering patient questions Sterilization Preparing the clinical room Temporary restorations Packing gingival retraction cord Radiographs Dental lab work Post-operative instructions Discussing treatment recommendations Patient records Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Dental Assistant Certificationrequired. Minimum of 2 years working in a dental practice as a chairside assistantpreferred. Excellent communication skills. Positive attitude. Ability to build rapport with patients. Purpose driven Strong listening skills Ability to multitask Attention to detail Organized Team player Experience with Dentrix dental software and Microsoft Office preferred.
