Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, Invisalign, endodontics, and so much more . Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Take dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Dentrix, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Monitor vital signs and assess patient readiness before procedures, demonstrating knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing medical documentation. Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness. Experience MUST have prior experience working in a dental clinic setting, especially with general dentistry Proficiency in dental assisting duties including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and understanding dental terminology. Experience with EMR systems Dentrix is preferred Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Experience with dental coding and managing medical records enhances your ability to support comprehensive patient care. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times. Certification in X-ray technology or radiography is required; Preferred CPR certified, MUST be a DA2. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
