Job Description

Overview We are looking for a dedicated and patient focused Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this role, you will support dentists in providing top-quality treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth clinical workflow. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their dental experience. We value proactive, detail-oriented professionals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Pay compensation is based on experience. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, surgical procedures, and implant dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and ensure all equipment is functioning properly, following strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including panoramic and 3D scans, while maintaining patient safety protocols. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as DentiMax to ensure accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental tools efficiently and supporting the dentist with vital signs measurement and medical imaging procedures. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience assisting with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team. Certification or training in dental assisting, including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and vital signs measurement preferred.
