  • Overview
  • We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing excellent dental care to patients.
  • Duties
  • Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
  • Take and record medical histories
  • Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment
  • Perform 3D scans and assist with X-rays
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information
  • Utilize software for patient management
  • Provide chair-side assistance during orthodontic procedures
  • Handle dental receptionist duties as needed
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, prosthodontics, and anatomy is beneficial
  • Qualifications
  • Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
  • Proficiency in handling medical documentation and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with dental systems and equipment such as 3D scanners
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in orthodontics
