A Dental Assistant assists dentists in caring for patient's teeth. Helps patients get ready for treatment; prepares equipment and supplies. May perform some dental procedures under the direction of a dentist, such as fluoride application, if allowed under state regulations. Works in dental offices.
DDS or DMD degree, Document successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or the Integrated National Board Dental Examination prior to the date of hire Must possess or obtain and maintain an unrestricted Nebraska Dental License in the category for which they are eligible along with subsequent credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems. Candidates must also possess strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking two motivated individuals as Team Leaders within the School's pre doctorial clinic model. The 12-month, non-tenure, Clinician Educator track appointments will work with a team of dedicated faculty who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education in the Department of General Dentistry Position responsibilities include: Serving as a Team leader in the school's comprehensive team-based practice model as well as supporting the delivery of the curriculum in preclinical courses and labs. Administrative management of students within an assigned team and overseeing the clinical care of their patient families as the students matriculate toward graduation. Participation in scholarly activity and service is encouraged as part of the position responsibilities.
