Dental Assistant

Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures in pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. Support patients by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions to foster trust and ease anxiety. Maintain clinical supplies inventory, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Collaborate with the dental team to implement four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and patient comfort. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of pediatric dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. Familiarity with medical documentation, medical coding, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience assisting with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and support the dental team. Must be dependable and on Time Mondays-8:30-5:30, Tuesdays 8:30-6:30, Thursdays 8:30-5:00, Fridays 8:00-2:00, $500.00 signing bonus after 6 months of employment.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
