Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists during procedures, manage patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and adherence to infection control protocols. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care Maintain infection control standards by adhering to OSHA guidelines and sterilization procedures Skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols Experience with X-ray procedures, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique This position offers an engaging environment where you can grow your skills within general dentistry or specialized fields such as prosthodontics or endodontics.
