DENTAL ASSISTANT

Dental Assistant:
Working alongside our Dentist, you'll be an important part of a clinical team who strives for excellence by focusing on quality, service, and delivering outstanding patient satisfaction. The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure an unbeatable positive, patient experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for treatment Recording patients medical and dental histories Chairside assisting during a variety of dental and surgical procedures Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures Provide postoperative instructions and patient education Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Maintain strict compliance with infection control, OSHA and HIPPA Maintain dental supply inventory Perform other job related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
An active dental Xray certification Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
C.D.A. / R.D.A
preferred Strong verbal skills Possess required certifications, license or registration as required by state High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Experience working in front and back dental office Embrace a positive team approach to patient care •DAG retains the sole discretion to change the duties of the position at any time.
