Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an

- Dental Assistant
- to work at a facility in
- East Brunswick, NJ.
Pay Rate:
- $30 / hour
Duties:
Job Summary:
As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will work closely with oral surgeons and other clinical staff to assist with complex procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation cases. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, surgical setting and is passionate about patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care.Job Responsibilities:
- Assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, none grafts, and IV sedation cases.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, operatory, and sterilization areas in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Monitor and reassure patients before, during and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Take and process dental radiographs, including panoramic and CBCT imaging (if certified).
- Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Manage surgical inventory, prepare surgical trays, and order supplies as needed.
- Supports sedation and anesthesia setup (IV or nitrous) and recovery process under supervision.
- Collaboration with front desk and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience.

- Minimum one (1)
- two (2) years of dental assisting experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Oral surgery experience.
