- to work at a facility in
- East Brunswick, NJ.
Pay Rate:
- $30 / hour
Duties:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering outstanding pediatric dental care. We pride ourselves on creating positive experience for children and families in a modern, team-oriented environment- where patient comfort, safety, and quality care comes first.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures.
- Educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Take and process dental radiographs as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments.
- Assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure instruments are properly sterilized.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards.
- Provide reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during and after treatment.

Required Skills & Experience:
- One (1) year of hands-on experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with children and their families.
- Proficiency in routine clinical tasks such as taking x-rays, setting up/breaking down rooms, and passing instruments.
Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.

- Possession of a valid X-ray license.
- CPR.
- Coronal Polishing certification.

- Nitrous Oxide certification.
