Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic oral surgery team as a dental assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering top-notch services. You will be at the heart of our practice, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their dental journey. What you'll do Assist the oral surgeon during surgery. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for use. Take X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Go over post op instructions with patients to ensure proper care. Basic qualifications Proven experience in dental and or oral surgery assisting. Familiarity with medical documentation and medical records. Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control procedures, and anatomy related to oral surgery. Must have a valid X Ray license Preferred qualifications Proficiency in using 3D scanners for imaging purposes. Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
