Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Overview We are a pediatric dental office in Madison, NJ and are looking to add an great dental assistant to our awesome team!

Schedule:

We are looking for someone full time, including one Saturday per month. Either experience in dental assisting OR completion of a dental assisting program is required. New assisting graduates welcome! Pediatric experience preferred. NJ Dental Xray license required (if you are planning to take your xray course, we can consider)

Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients, set-up and breakdown of rooms, assisting doctor and/or hygienist with procedures, taking radiographs, providing patients and parents with instructions, instrument sterilization, helping child pick prizes and tv show, generally helping patient to feel comfortable and have a good experience Ideal candidate traits: warm and outgoing personality, patient and calming demeanor, good team player, detail oriented, and desire to work with children Please email resume and indicate level of dental assisting experience, experience with pediatrics, and confirm that you have a current NJ Dental X-Ray License. Starship Pediatric Dentistry Pay:

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
