Per Year Description:
Join our team as a Dental Assistant, providing support in a community dental setting. This full-time role in Trenton, NJ, requires assisting dentists, maintaining sterilization protocols, and managing administrative tasks. Candidates should be familiar with digital radiography and patient management systems.
Requirements:
Assist dentists during procedures and ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments according to safety standards. Escort and seat patients, verifying identity and medical history. Take diagnostic digital radiographs. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders. Support front desk operations, including scheduling and data entry. Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; dental assisting program completion preferred. Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred. Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification required. New Jersey Radiological License required. Ambulatory Surgery Technician Certification required. Strong organizational and customer service skills.
