Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable
EXPERIENCED
Dental assistant to join our team. If you are committed to providing an amazing experience for patients and parents, send us your resume ASAP Bilingual
  • English/Spanish with good communication skills. Paid Holidays (ie: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting/receptionist experience
Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with all patients needs and concerns.
  • Sets up the treatment/clinical area for patients.
organizes plus prepares trays sets up for dental procedures & maintains adequate supply levels in each operatory. preps patients as well as assists with dental procedures. prepares and mixes materials. obtains vital signs and monitors patients for complications. cleans up following procedure disposes of all waste in an appropriate fashion disinfects area after each patient, sets up for next patient in accordance with established procedures
  • Preparing patients for dental procedures by making them comfortable and providing any instructions.
  • Ensure all osha, dental board plus related policies procedures are properly followed.
  • Arranged sterile trays for the doctor and also Sterilize instruments
  • Must be Flexibility willing to help in both the front or back office, depending on the needs of the team and patients
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and Patient care at all times
  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with monthly and daily patient goals and Daily Report on Recall Patient list.
  • Answer phones and confirm appointments, Greet and check-in patients
  • Accurately verify dental benefits
  • Maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
  • Collect payments, co-payments, deductibles and verify insurance coverage for Medicaid/PPO/other insurances.
  • Insurance benefit breakdown with insurance company via phone and online verification
  • Obtaining prior-authorizations for procedures from insurance companies
  • Create insurance claims and submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies on a timely basis
  • Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
