Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pioneer Blvd Ste 3 . virginvalleydental.com Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Epic. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations within the dental clinic. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical coding, and vital signs monitoring is essential. Proficiency in using dental clinic management systems is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
