Job Description
About the Role We're looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant (or RDA) to join our supportive, fast-paced dental team. You'll assist chairside, help the hygienists and front office when needed, and play a key role in providing great patient care. Our office runs on teamwork — everyone helps one another to keep the day smooth and positive. What You'll Do Set up and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments following infection control standards Assist the dentist chairside with general procedures, simple extractions, and the occasional root canal. Take digital X-rays and CBCT's while maintaining proper safety protocols Record and update patient information accurately in Eaglesoft Check in with patients and note any medical changes relevant to their dental treatment Educate patients on procedures and post-treatment care in a caring, easy-to-understand way Help hygienists turn over rooms and maintain clinic cleanliness Support the front desk with scheduling and patient communication as needed Work together with the team to keep the office efficient, upbeat, and welcoming What We're Looking For Previous dental office experience preferred Familiarity with Eaglesoft software Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and X-ray safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills RDA license or Dental Assisting certification preferred, but we're happy to train the right person Friendly attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Why You'll Love It Here We're a caring, close-knit team that believes in helping each other succeed and giving every patient our best.
