Job Description
We are a well-established, high-quality endodontic office in Albany seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-oriented dental assistant to join our team. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. In addition, the candidate should be able to provide a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for patients, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. - dental assisting experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and clean rooms
- Sterilize dental instruments
- Manage patient flow and stay on schedule
- Manage inventory of supplies and assist in restocking
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Cross train front desk duties (i.e. taking payments/checking patients in and out)
- Assist chairside during endodontic procedures including taking radiographs (will train as needed)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Ability to take a proactive approach to tasks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dental assisting experience and knowledge of dentistry is preferred
