Job Description
Position Overview As our Orthodontic Assistant, you will serve as the Smile Expert , supporting clinical care and ensuring consistent delivery of the Smilebliss mission: Affordability, a Blissful Experience, and Time Efficiency. You will assist with clinical procedures, support patient comfort and confidence, and help ensure efficient, high-quality treatment. This role is essential in creating a smooth, positive experience while supporting timely and effective patient care. Smilebliss Model Delivery Clinical Assistance and Patient Care Assist the doctor with orthodontic procedures, including records, appliance placement, and adjustments Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout the visit Provide clear instructions and education to support treatment success Help create a positive, supportive, and professional clinical experience Patient Flow and Efficiency Prepare operatories and instruments to support on-time appointments Seat patients promptly and support efficient clinical flow Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed Ensure operatories are cleaned, stocked, and ready between patients Treatment Support and Documentation Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation Follow Smilebliss clinical protocols and safety standards Support inventory organization and supply management Communicate effectively with the doctor and team to support coordinated care Qualifications Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred X-ray certification as required by state regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Positive, professional, and patient-focused mindset Alignment with Smilebliss mission and values What We Offer Competitive pay 401k Paid time off
