Job Description

We are a well-established, locally owned dental practice in the Buffalo, NY area seeking an experienced, compassionate, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This position is based in our smaller office with 5 operatories, where teamwork, and personalized care are essential. Our practice provides comprehensive dental services, including preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures. We are committed to delivering high-quality care while creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient. Our Philosophy We believe in preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible. Our treatment approach emphasizes conservative, evidence-based dentistry, utilizing minimally invasive techniques and treatment options when clinically appropriate. What You'll Do Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Provide exceptional chairside support while ensuring patient comfort and confidence Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) Utilize digital technology, including intraoral scanners, for imaging and treatment planning Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, and treatment documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care Monitor and maintain clinical inventory and supplies Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment where flexibility and initiative are valued Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience required Experience with digital radiography and dental software Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for continuing education and professional development A supportive, close-knit team environment Modern technology and equipment A practice culture focused on excellence, respect, and patient-centered care Apply Today If you are an experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
