Full-time — Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Location:
Freeville, NY About the Role We are looking for a versatile, patient-focused team member to join us in a cross-trained role. You'll split your time between assisting chairside and supporting our front desk; a great fit for someone who likes variety and takes pride in doing things well. We believe in playing to people's strengths. While this role covers both clinical and administrative responsibilities, we'll lean on what you do best and build your day-to-day around that as you grow into the role. What matters most to us is someone who works well as part of a team, communicates clearly with coworkers and patients alike, and holds themselves to a high standard of professionalism, no matter which side of the practice they're working on that day. Chairside/Clinical Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments between patients Assist the dentist during procedures (four-handed dentistry) Take and process dental X-rays Provide patients with post-op instructions and answer basic care questions Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards Track and order dental supplies as needed Front Desk/Administrative Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out Schedule and confirm appointments Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Verify insurance and process claims/billing basics Collect payments and manage patient accounts Maintain accurate patient records in Eaglesoft Required Qualifications Comfortable splitting time between clinical duties and administrative tasks day-to-day Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-first attitude Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Eaglesoft Experience with insurance verification and claims processing CPR certification
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
