Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant with at least one years experience to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care . This role involves assisting dentists during various treatments, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth operation within the dental clinic. Tuesday's through Friday's with the opportunity for some Monday's. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including dental receptionist responsibilities. Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in pediatric dentistry when treating younger patients. Utilize medical imaging technologies, including 3D scanners, to enhance patient care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
