Entry-Level Dental Assistant - Full-Time $18-$21/hr | Plattsburgh, NY Looking for a career where you can make kids smile every day? That's okay-we're looking for someone with the right personality, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. We believe great employees can be trained-we're looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn. What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, every day is different! You'll help keep our office running smoothly while supporting both our patients and clinical team by: Assisting the dentist during exams and procedures Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and excited about their visit Preparing treatment rooms and organizing instruments before each patient Cleaning and sterilizing instruments following safety guidelines Taking dental X-rays (training provided if needed) Keeping operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked Working closely with teammates to keep appointments running on schedule Assisting with basic front office tasks when needed The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, upbeat, and loves working with children Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team Detail-oriented and takes pride in staying organized Flexible and willing to jump in wherever help is needed Calm under pressure and committed to providing excellent patient care No dental experience? No problem! We'll provide training for the right candidate. We care more about your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn than previous dental experience.
