Job Description
Experienced Dental Assistant - Endodontic Specialty Practice We are a busy and growing endodontic specialty practice in Williston Park, NY seeking an experienced, motivated, and personable Dental Assistant to join our team 3-4 days per week. We are looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, positive, easygoing, and a true team player . The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty dental environment. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during root canal and other endodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms before and after procedures Take dental X-rays Properly clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment Assist with setup and operation of dental equipment Maintain accurate patient documentation Follow infection-control and sterilization protocols Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing responsibilities Work collaboratively with the doctor and other team members Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Previous dental experience required Familiarity with dental X-rays and sterilization procedures Endodontic/root canal experience is a plus, but not required X-Ray Certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Positive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Comfortable working closely with patients and as part of a team Location Williston Park, NY 11596 This is an in-person position . Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Williston Park. We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of our team and grow with our practice.
