Full job description Legacy Staffing has partnered with a World Class Healthcare Provider who is seeking experienced Dental Assistants for the Clinic Operation in Cleveland, Oh Great Opportunity for a Career Path in Dentistry with a WorldClass Provider !! Responsibilities:
Assists with performing assessments and treatments. Performs diagnostic radiographs. Obtains alginate impressions for diagnostic and/or intra-oral appliances. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned. Maintains examination areas. Works in clinical and operating room settings as needed. Other duties as assigned. Maintains dental equipment and medical supplies, including sterilizing instruments, reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge and understanding of the dental management of medically compromised patients to include cardiology, oncology, hematology and infectious disease patients.
Certifications:
Must be state certified as a Dental Assistant Radiographer. Specific certification required is dependent on assigned area. Basic Life Support (BLS) required Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, and will be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assisting the dentist during various procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control standards. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take dental radiographs as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups as needed. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs, fostering a comfortable atmosphere. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry practices. Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Familiarity with infection control standards in a clinical setting. Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Proficient in using 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
