ORAL SURGEON DENTAL ASSISTANT

to join our Fairl Lawn Dental Team in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate will have experience in both general and pediatric dentistry, with a strong focus on patient comfort and support. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the dental clinic operates smoothly. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a sterile environment. Prepare and maintain instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures. Take and develop X-rays as required. Record vital signs and patient information accurately. Provide support to patients before, during, and after dental procedures. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Skills Proficiency in assisting with general dentistry procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental software for managing patient records. Ability to take X-rays and understand radiographic techniques. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Competence in recording vital signs accurately. Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, aiding in front-office operations.
