Job Description

Hours:
4 days/wk Private dental practice in Findlay, OH, looking to add another kind, caring and professional dental assistant to our team! This position will include some special skills training.
Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms & implement infection control policies and procedures Ensure that treatment rooms are stocked at all times Create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable patient environment Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures by anticipating, selecting, preparing, and providing dental instruments and materials Take digital radiographs, panoramic radiographs, and dental impressions Sterilize dental instruments and stock/organize in treatment rooms Make temporary crowns Chart/document patient visits clearly and accurately in our electronic medical record system Educate patients on oral care and provide instructions following dental procedures Monitor patient flow Help in other areas of the office as necessary (i.e. answering phones, unpacking supplies, etc.) Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuing education and any required training necessary for the position

High School Diploma Preferred:
Dental Assistant Certification, Dental Radiology License •Candidates currently in process of obtaining their Dental Assistant Certification and Radiology License will be considered A Terrific Opportunity!
