Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our orthodontic office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental/orthodontic administrative procedures. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling and coordinating appointments, handling billing and insurance processes, and maintaining accurate medical records. The successful candidate will contribute to a smooth office environment by providing exceptional administrative support in scheduling, financial duties, New Patient processes, and organization while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Qualifications Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic office setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of health insurance procedures including verification, claims processing, and Medicare guidelines. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; typing speed of at least 10 key typing is desirable. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a multi-tasking environment while maintaining clinical confidentiality. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and administrative tasks.
