Dental Assisting Full Job Description JOB:
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
We're looking for the right motivated person to join our cohesive team, where we take pride in our role in helping our patients achieve optimum health. Our two-doctor practice is open Mondays through Thursdays, is in a great location, and puts our patients' needs first.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take dental radiographs
  • Schedule appointments and managing patient records
  • Take and record patients' vital signs
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
  • Follow aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy We are looking for a candidate that is interested in being cross trained on some basic front office duties.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred and one year minimum work experience
  • Current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and systems
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
