$23.00-$28.00 per hour Position length: Approximately 2-3 months Work location: In person Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, energetic Temporary Dental Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced dental team. In this paid temporary role, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and help each day run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for an assistant who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and wants to strengthen their skills in general, pediatric, restorative, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques Take high-quality dental radiographs while following proper safety and infection-control protocols Review and document patient medical histories and vital signs Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the practice-management system Assist with intraoral scanning and other digital imaging as needed Follow sterilization, aseptic, and infection-prevention procedures Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment Provide patients with clear post-treatment and preventive-care instructions Occasionally assist with scheduling, answering patient questions, or other front-office needs Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience is strongly preferred Familiarity with common general dentistry procedures and dental terminology Current dental radiology certification or applicable training is preferred Strong understanding of sterilization and infection-control standards Experience with dental practice-management or electronic record systems is helpful Experience working with children is a plus Comfortable learning and using digital dental technology Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail A professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care We are proud of the supportive and welcoming environment we have created for both our patients and our team.
