We are seeking a dedicated and energetic temp Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our specialized dental team. In this vital role, you will support our endodontist in delivering exceptional root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures. Your enthusiasm for patient care, combined with your technical expertise, will ensure a smooth, efficient, and comfortable experience for every patient. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary dental instruments, materials, and sterilized equipment for endodontic procedures Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments by providing chairside support, managing dental instruments, and ensuring patient comfort Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, adhering to infection prevention protocols and radiation safety standards Manage patient records using Open Dental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on pre
  • and post-operative care instructions while addressing their questions with clear, empathetic communication Maintain strict infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with experience in four-handed dentistry and chairside support for endodontic procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging to accurately assist during complex treatments Familiarity with dental equipment such as 3D scanners, dental x-ray machines, and other clinical tools used in endodontics and general dentistry Expertise in infection prevention management and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of clinical hygiene Ability to operate patient management software Open Dental for accurate medical documentation and records management Excellent understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical coding, and healthcare infection control practices Pediatrics is a plus but not required; a focus on patient care across all age groups is essential Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding dental care.

This is a small yet busy single doctor office. For the right person pay is up to $35/hr depending on experience. Possible performance bonus for excellent attendance and work ethic. Office hours 8-4, patient hours 8:30-5 depending on schedule.
