About the role

Experienced Dental Assistant - Private Practice

Our growing private dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who can confidently assist with a wide range of general and restorative procedures. We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who can keep procedures running efficiently while providing excellent patient care.

This is not an entry-level position. Dental experience is required.

Required Skills:

Comprehensive exam setup and assisting

Digital X-rays

Composite restorations

Root canal setup and assisting

Surgical setup and assisting

Strong suctioning and isolation techniques

Coronal polishing

Taking impressions and scans

Sterilization and infection control

Room setup and breakdown

Charting and treatment notes

Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance

Qualifications:

Dental assisting experience required

EFDA preferred but not required

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Professional appearance and attitude

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Responsibilities:

Assist the doctor during all procedures

Prepare treatment rooms and instruments

Take diagnostic radiographs

Educate patients on treatment and home care

Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols

Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked and organized

Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed
