If you are interested in working in an exciting environment with a great team and have a background in dental assisting, this is the right career choice for you! The successful candidate will be friendly, detail oriented, reliable and have a background in dental assisting. We have two locations - one in Oakland and one in Wexford. Must be able to travel to both locations
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist in administering dental treatment Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces, and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies Providing patient education and nutritional counseling to maintain oral health Treat patients with respect and friendly attitude Perform administrative tasks as directed by the dentist
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of accredited dental assisting program preferred Compliance with state dental practice requirements such as x-ray requirements and OSHA standards Computer skills Previous Dental assisting experience preferred

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
