Job Description

Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Dental Assistant (Hybrid Role - Full-Time) Position Summary We are seeking a full-time dental team member with prior dental experience to work primarily at the front desk and assist clinically as needed. This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to work where needed, including at least one day per week assisting chairside . Key Responsibilities Front Desk / Administrative Duties
  • Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
  • Answer phones and manage patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
  • Collect copays, balances, and post payments
  • Submit and follow up on insurance claims
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charts
  • Keep the front office clean, organized, and professional Clinical / Dental Assisting Duties (As Needed)
  • Assist the dentist during procedures (minimum one day per week)
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Seat patients and review medical histories
  • Take digital X-rays as permitted by state regulations
  • Turn over operatories and support efficient patient flow Qualifications
  • Prior dental office experience required (front desk, assisting, or both)
  • Comfortable working both administrative and clinical roles
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and workflows
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • X-ray certification preferred
  • Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred Personal Attributes We Value
