Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Dental Assistant (Hybrid Role - Full-Time) Position Summary We are seeking a full-time dental team member with prior dental experience to work primarily at the front desk and assist clinically as needed. This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to work where needed, including at least one day per week assisting chairside . Key Responsibilities Front Desk / Administrative Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
- Answer phones and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
- Collect copays, balances, and post payments
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Keep the front office clean, organized, and professional Clinical / Dental Assisting Duties (As Needed)
- Assist the dentist during procedures (minimum one day per week)
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Seat patients and review medical histories
- Take digital X-rays as permitted by state regulations
- Turn over operatories and support efficient patient flow Qualifications
- Prior dental office experience required (front desk, assisting, or both)
- Comfortable working both administrative and clinical roles
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and workflows
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- X-ray certification preferred
- Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred Personal Attributes We Value
