We are looking for a team member who is dental oriented and loves to work with children. Experience working with kids a benefit. In this energetic role, you will support our dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth, efficient clinic operation. The ideal candidate will have some pediatric dental assisting experience and be comfortable helping front desk confirm and schedule patients. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, infection control, and anatomy knowledge. Licensed and able to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique to ensure patient safety at all times. Experience supporting pediatric dentistry occasionally is desirable but not required. Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentists during various treatments including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and confidence. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict infection control protocols. Manage patient records efficiently using our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and records. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology accurately, monitoring vital signs, and applying aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating with the dental receptionist to optimize clinic flow. Uphold HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and handling medical information responsibly. Other related tasks as assigned such as scheduling and some front desk duties

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 hours per week
