Full Job Description Description:
RI Children's Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our well-established pediatric and orthodontic team. Experience & Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient appointments Prepare and break down treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take orthodontic records including photos, X-rays, and impressions as needed Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care Ensure children feel comfortable, supported, and at ease throughout their visit Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred Experience working with children is a plus Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Positive attitude, patience, and team-focused mindset Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
