We are currently looking for a compassionate, team-oriented dental assistant to join us. One of our assistants will be leaving for graduate school, and she is excited to help personally train and support our new hire over the next several months to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition into the role. Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable dental assistant to join our practice part-time Monday through Wednesday, with the opportunity for a full-time position for the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during treatment procedures when needed Take digital dental radiographs (x-rays) Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Help patients feel comfortable and reassured during their visits Maintain dental equipment and clinical organization Occasionally assist with front office responsibilities to support the team Qualifications Familiarity with tooth numbering and dental terminology Dental assisting experience or certification preferred Willingness to learn and grow within the practice Endodontic experience is helpful but not required — we are happy to train the right person Strong communication and patient care skills Reliable, professional, and team-focused Comfortable working with digital software and technology
