Greenville, SC Oak Tree Pediatric Dentistry has an immediate opportunity available for a Orthodontic Dental Assistant! Are you an Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in patients' oral health? Do you take pride in providing exceptional care and educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene? If so, Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is the place for you! We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patient's oral health. Responsibilities This position is primarily responsible for performing clinical and non-clinical duties to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high quality standard of care for patients. A successful Ortho Assistant exhibits an efficient, knowledgeable, and positive countenance for every patient experience. Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit Assists doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement. Removes and places wires, ties, power chains/thread Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of orthodontic experience Radiology Certification Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification Bi-Lingual is a plus
