Qualified applicants will have:
- Orthodontic Dental Assisting 2-3 years
- Comfortable talking to patients of all ages in person and on phone
- Strong written language skills
- Comfortable with sending emails
- Willingness to learn
- Spanish speaking skills a big plus but not necessary Job duties will include:
Dental Assistant Duties:
Taking X-rays, assisting when necessary, Sterilization, Helping with urgencies, taking consult records and Itero scans etc.- Greeting patients
- Using practice management and imaging software systems
- Review health histories
- Set up consultation room for consult appointments
- Maintain a professional reception area/office
- Sending copies of patient records
- Present treatment plans to patients
- Arrange payment plans with patients
- Calling patients to confirm appointments and follow up after consultations
- Answering phone calls when other staff are busy
- Writing chart notes
- Taking records
- Answering phone and filling in at reception when needed Job benefits:
- Hourly rate depending on experience
