Responsibilities:
Assist with a variety of periodontal and implant procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Support the dentist during patient examinations and treatments by providing instruments and materials promptly. Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer their questions to foster trust and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards. Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and clinical supplies to optimize daily operations. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience required. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist and patients for efficient workflow. Professional attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work well as part of a team. TN certification in dental assisting preferred required.
