Job Summary Join our vibrant pediatric dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will help create a positive and comfortable experience for young patients. In this dynamic role, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, ensure clinical excellence through infection control and sterilization, and support patient care from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and oral surgeries, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary supplies Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to HIPAA and infection prevention policies to ensure patient safety and privacy. Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care using clear dental terminology. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while documenting medical history, treatment notes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare infection control standards. Support dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management to uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique and dental equipment sterilization. Treat each child with warmth, care, and kindness, ensuring a positive experience Qualifications Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with certification in dental assisting. Nitrous and coronal polishing certification preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing compassionate patient care.
