Summary We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Little Harpeth Children's Dentistry. In this role, you will assist in providing high-quality dental care to our young patients while ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission of promoting healthy smiles. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices. Utilize medical imaging technologies to support diagnostic procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Experience in pediatric dentistry or dental assisting preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
