Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Dentrix software utilized Manage patient records by updating medical documentation and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and data security. Perform chairside assisting tasks including taking vital signs, explaining procedures using dental terminology, and supporting patients throughout their visit. Digital radiographs utilized Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience using Dentrix for medical records management. Skilled in taking X-rays and performing vital signs assessments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure patient privacy and compliance.
