We're building a practice focused on exceptional patient experiences and clinical excellence. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, X-rays, oral surgeries, and restorative treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental X-ray units, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manage patient flow by greeting young patients and their guardians, scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure safety and reduce anxiety. Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate medical documentation using patient management software Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry, chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, and infection control practices. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy relevant to pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures. Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic technique to ensure a safe clinical environment. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and patient management software effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children of various ages and their guardians while maintaining professionalism.
