General Dental Assistants (RDA)

Job Summary We are looking for team members who support dentists by prepping rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and assisting chairside during procedures. And often update patient records and educate patients on oral hygiene. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, with precision and professionalism. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are met. Take and develop dental X-rays using modern imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records by updating medical documentation. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort during procedures to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with team members and patients. Collaborate in four-handed dentistry practices to improve efficiency and reduce procedure times while providing excellent patient care. Qualifications Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during complex procedures, while maintaining high standards of infection control. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
