Job Description

Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control standards are maintained, and support the delivery of comprehensive dental services. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Epic; document medical history, vital signs, and treatment details accurately Support administrative tasks by acting as a dental receptionist—scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting with patient check-in/out processes Conduct medical documentation and coding to ensure proper billing and compliance with healthcare regulations Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions in clear, understandable language Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and applying aseptic procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical imaging procedures Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Epic; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy at all times Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with patients of all ages—especially pediatrics—and team members Familiarity with dental specialties such as prosthodontics and endodontics enhances your versatility in supporting diverse treatments Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
