Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing and personable individual to join our team as an orthodontic assistant. We want a team member who enjoys interacting in positive ways with coworkers, and whose priority is exceptional patient care! We consistently strive to uplift and encourage our patients by creating amazing smiles, making their experiences special, and working towards increasing smiling in our community - and we want individuals on our team who are willing to achieve those goals. We need someone with at least one year of experience, who is proficient at taking x-rays, photos, banding/bonding, wire changes, etc. Our office manager will contact you for a phone interview prior to inviting you to our office. We also require a working interview to assess skill level and patient interaction. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective chairside assisting techniques. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including 3D scanners, while adhering to aseptic techniques. Interact with patients to explain procedures, provide comfort, and gather necessary medical history. Manage patient records using EMR systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support the orthodontic team in various tasks.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
