Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and be passionate about delivering high-quality pediatric dental care. Responsibilities Assist pediatric dentists with exams, cleanings, and dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols. Comfort and engage with young patients to create a positive and stress-free experience. Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Take and process dental X-rays following safety guidelines. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting in dental software. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards. Support the dental team with general office duties as needed. Qualifications ✅
Required:
Previous experience as a dental assistant. Radiology certification . Knowledge of open dental software and digital X-ray technology. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children. A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong work ethic. ✅
Preferred:
Experience working in a high-volume pediatric dental office. Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus! Coronal Polishing Certificate, Pits and Fissure Sealant Certification and Nitrous Certification. Why Join Us? Competitive Pay
