Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient communication will help create positive experiences that encourage patient loyalty and promote oral health. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are met Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Manage patient records using Dentrix, including updating medical documentation and medical records accurately Perform vital signs measurement and assess patient comfort before procedures to ensure safety and well-being Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient inquiries Operate advanced medical imaging tools like 3D scanners for comprehensive diagnostics and treatment planning Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to facilitate effective communication within the team Uphold strict infection control practices and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure a safe clinical environment Skills Proficiency with Dentrix for efficient medical documentation and record keeping Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology to support accurate procedures and communication Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry as well as specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics Skilled in taking X-rays (radiographs) while maintaining patient safety standards Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic setting Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when needed Familiarity with medical coding processes relevant to dental procedures for accurate billing and documentation Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist to coordinate appointments effectively and provide outstanding patient service Embark on your next professional adventure with us—where your skills make a difference every day!

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
